The HANSON brand was first used in 1844 by Mary Hanson in Yorkshire, to transport goods including furniture and wool by packhorse. Over time the company modernized to include horse drawn carriages and then trucks and warehouses.
Today known as HANSON Logistics, the business has operated continuously for over 180 years. Hon. Robert Hanson is the 9th Hanson to serve as chairman.
